Matt: 07866 672421To raise funds and awareness for the charities before we leave in January, we have decided to organize an 'Evening of Fine Indian Cuisine'.
We have pestered everyone we know to find out where the best Indian Restaurant is and pretty much everyone came back with 'The Ganges, Truro' who are renound for producing well prepared, authentic Indian Cuisine without having to wait for hours on end.
It ticked all the right boxes so we approached The Ganges and before we knew it, the event was marked in the calendar as a Goa (!).
THE INDIAN CUISINE.
We have agreed with The Ganges a set menu which consists of:
Starter:
Papadam and Condiments
Main Course:
A Lamb, Chicken or Vegetable Curry, Rice, Naan Bread (2 Shared between 4) and 2 Vegetable Side Dishes (2 shared between four people).
Finish:
Coffee and Chocolates

WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES:
The Ganges charge us £12.50/head for the food and we sell tickets at £18.00/head.
Your £5.50 per ticket donation will be distributed as follows:
70% Charity: £3.85
22% India Evening Set Up Cost (Ticket Printing/Posters/Fuel): £1.21
8% Endurance India Trip Cost (Visas/Fuel): £0.44
THE PRIZE DRAW.
TICKET COST:
£1.00To make the evening a success and raise more money and awareness for the charities we have decide to hold a Prize Draw.
The draw will be held at the end of the evening when everybody is hopefully rubbing full bellies and tucking into chocolates and coffee.
We have approached lots of different businesses to see if they would kindly donate prizes for the draw, many have been very forth coming and we have been overwhelmed with the response.
We will collect the stubs from the tickets sold at the beginning of the evening and throw them all in a hat (the stubs contain ticket number, name and Address), these will then be mixed up and drawn one at a time, winners will then come up and select a prize from the pile of goodies.
