DESIGN THE FLAG!!
DESIGN COMPETITION... DO YOU HAVE THE SKILLS?
In January 2009 these two 1950's motorcycles will be travelling 2000km across Southern India to raise money for charity and are looking for people with creative and artistic talents to design the flags. Do you have the skills?
The winning designs will be hosted on this website and photographed and filmed on this epic adventure through India. The lucky winners will receive their flags at the end of the trip with photographs of their designs in some of the most inaccessible and remote areas of India!
Each design costs £2.00 and you may submit as many as you like (all money goes to charity).

Four winning Flag designs will be chosen and printed on each face of the two flags. The four categories are:
- Primary Schools
- Secondary Schools
- Sixth Form/ Colleges
- Universities and Others
Winners will receive their flag on completion of the trip with photographs of their design along the way, the two flags used in the trip will be forwarded to the 1st and 2nd place winners and 3rd and 4th places will receive new 'untravelled' flags!.
The winning flag artworks will be hosted on our website and will ask winners to write a little piece about your inspiration and yourself to accompany your design.
Each design will be uploaded to our Facebook Group 'Design The Flag' or another web media space provider (photobucket etc) unless otherwise advised.
Only Designs received with the £2 donation will be considered for judging (One design per £2 donation)
Designs can be produced electronically and sent on CD or hand drawn. Larger the better, although please do not use paper larger than A1 size.
Entries per school will receive a photograph with special thanks, the winning flags (if applicable) and the amount they have raised for the charities.
The closing date for entries will be 5th November 2008 and the winners shall be announced by 26th November 2008. Late entries will be considered.
The theme is Southern India....think Mountains, Tiger Reserves, Elephants, Paddy Fields etc
